The actor Mr. T aka B. A. (Bad Attitude) Baracus is famous for his striking Mohawk hairstyle, for wearing large amounts of gold jewelry around his neck and for his one-liners with “fool” in it. His real name is Laurence Tureaud, please forget that name, Laurence spoils his image of tough guy.
His acting does not stop with the A-team, Rocky, Spy Hard, Not Another Teen Movie, WWF (acting too??) and numerous small roles in hit series like Suddenly Susan and Blossom. Advertising agencies saw his potential too. In the 80’s he featured in a collect-call service ad. Terrible, because Mr. T’s image has nothing to do with watching the pennies.

Snickers did a better job. Their commercial is exactly what I want an ad with Mr. T to be, foolish and tough. Mr. T has only one line to say: “Quit yo Jibber-jabber! You ain’t hurt, yo pathetic!, Argh! If I ever catch you out like a crazy fool again, you’re gonna meet my friend pain!, Snickers, get some nuts!” bull’s-eye!

Only minus is the music in this commercial. Probably Snickers didn’t get the rights for the real A-team theme, so they composed something similar. Bad choice! (Mr. T, if you read this, I’m just kidding…)
