Cheapest commercial ever!

Stop motion (or frame-by-frame) animation is a general term for an animation technique which makes a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved by extremely small amounts between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames are played as a continuous sequence. Good examples of a stop motion videos are Chicken Run and the Sony Bravia rabbits commercial.
An increasing amount of moviemakers is using this technique! This inspired Doritos. They wrote out a contest for their latest television advert. The prize was $40.000 and airtime in the United Kingdom. Contestants could upload their efforts to the competition’s YouTube channel.
25-year-old Tony B won the “you make it we play it” contest with his ‘Doritos Tribe’ stop motion video. Costs: $10 dollar. This makes it the cheapest commercial ever!
Smart marketing by Doritos. Who said a good bargain is a pickpurse?
